Taste the best of South Africa at the inaugural Pinotage and Biltong Festival in Gauteng which takes place on national Pinotage day, Saturday 14 October and Sunday 15 October at the Leriba Hotel in Centurion.  On both days gates open at 11h00 and close at 17h00,  promising a lovely day out,.

 

With two of our country’s iconic products on show, visitors can be sure of a fantastic day of great wines paired with a range of biltong flavours and types as well as related items like droëwors.  Fest goers can taste and buy some of SA’s best red Pinotages or have fun with alternatives  including rosé’s, bubblies, blends, dessert wines and even a white Pinotage!

 

The event is family-friendly with live music, light meals and casual seating under the trees  next to the river.   The Pebbles Project, a registered charity organisation is responsible for the kiddies area where kids will be entertained whilst their parents enjoy the day.

 

Tickets @ R220 pp online from www.plankton.mobi or www.computicket.com  includes a branded wine glass for tastings and a Pinotage and Biltong Pairing card. Tickets at the gate are R250 pp. Kids under 18 enter free.  Dress code:  Purple and White.

The Pinotage and Biltong Festival is committed to the responsible consumption of alcohol and alcohol will not be served to under 18’s.  A free shuttle service is available to ticket holders from the Gautrain station in Centurion and use of public transport is recommended.
